Summary & Impact
The purpose of this project is to explore and design an interactive way-finding kiosk that enhances navigation inside metro stations. It aims to address challenges passengers face with static signages by providing real-time, personalized, and accessible guidance. Through this, the project investigates the role of physical product interfaces in simplifying complex transit environments and improving overall user experience.
The project’s impact lies in creating a seamless, stress-free travel experience by improving navigation, enhancing accessibility, saving time, and boosting commuter confidence through an intuitive and inclusive wayfinding kiosk.

Project Overview
This project explores the design of an interactive wayfinding kiosk for metro stations, aiming to simplify navigation, enhance accessibility, and improve the overall commuter experience through a user-friendly physical interface.
Preliminary Brief :
➡️ Crowded & complex stations — commuters often feel lost and stressed.
➡️ Static signages — limited, generic guidance; no real-time updates.
➡️ Accessibility gaps — tourists, elderly, and disabled passengers face added difficulties.
This leads to confusion, delays, and reduced commuter confidence.
Our goal: design an interactive wayfinding kiosk that offers real-time, personalized, and accessible navigation to simplify travel and create a smoother, stress-free metro experience.
